Canadian couple fight for double parental leaves for twins

OTTAWA, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- A Canadian couple expecting two babies at a time are fighting for the right to take one paid parental leave for each child.

Christian Martin and Paula Critchley, who will be having their twins born next spring, recently sent a letter to Human Resources Minister Diane Finley, arguing that they should receive 35 weeks of parental leaves for each child, according to a report by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Tuesday.
