EU raids pharmaceutical companies for antitrust concern

BRUSSELS, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- The European Commission said on Tuesday it had made unannounced inspections of a number of pharmaceutical companies for antitrust concern.

The European Union (EU) antitrust watchdog said in a statement it had reason to believe that the companies breached EU rules prohibiting restrictive business practices and the abuse of a dominant market position.
