Article: Midtown Plaza Tower building in Rochester could be saved

City of Rochester officials are culling development ideas for one of Rochester's landmarks.

Mayor Robert J. Duffy announced Thursday that the city has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the potential sale and reuse of the Midtown Plaza Tower building.

The tower is part of the 9.9 million-sq. ft. office space slated for demolition and redevelopment, but city officials hope it will catch the eye of a developer who could save it and find a new use.
