Second person charged in October homicide

A second person has been charged in connection with the death of a Milwaukee man who was fatally shot during a robbery outside a north side drug house in October, according to a criminal complaint.

Raynard Franklin, 18, of Milwaukee faces one count of felony murder in connection with the Oct. 8 death of James W. Parish, the complaint says.

If convicted, Franklin would face up to 35 years in prison.

A 15-year-old boy accused of shooting Parish was charged with first-degree reckless homicide in October.

According to the complaint against Franklin, he and the boy decided to rob Parish, 44, just as Parish was finishing a drug purchase ...
