SAINT PAUL, Minn., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American
Lung Association of Minnesota is urging Minnesotans to immunize
themselves and their families against influenza this week as part of
the national vaccination week.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,
about 36,000 Americans die from influenza annually, in spite of the
wide-spread availability of effective vaccines for the respiratory
disease. The American Lung Association of Minnesota has helped to
spread the word on flu shots through its Faces of Influenzacampaign.
