Secretary of State Jan Brewer announced the members of her
transition team as she prepares to replace Gov. Janet Napolitano,
who was asked to join President-elect Barack Obama's Cabinet.
According to a press release from Brewer's office, the team is
committed to a "seamless transition."
Brewer also named Deputy Secretary of State Kevin Tyne as her
gubernatorial chief of staff. As such, Tyne would guide the day-to-
day operations of the Governor's Office.
"For the past six years, Kevin Tyne has served the people of
Arizona as my deputy with honor, devotion and dedication," Brewer
