First ScotRail axes Edinburgh Park link to Newcraighall
RAIL bosses have been accused of "betraying" customers after they
axed a commuter service taking passengers across the city.
From today trains will no longer run between the park-and-ride
site at Newcraighall, near Musselburgh, and Edinburgh Park at the
Gyle. Passengers will instead have to travel to Waverley before
getting another train out to the business park.
Operator First ScotRail said a new service will operate between
Newcraighall and South Gyle, which is two miles away from Edinburgh
Park.

was taken after discussions with Transport Scotland about how to
