A state board has approved incentives that will retain and add
executive-level jobs at a detergent-manufacturing company and secure
Utah as a servicing site for a new Honda aircraft.
The Governor's Office of Economic Development Board on Thursday
approved a $2.5 million incentive -- some as a tax credit, some as a
grant -- for Sun Products Corp. The company said it plans to expand
in Salt Lake City, retaining 183 executive positions and adding 80
employees over 10 years.
"The state of Utah and its partners have made the complicated
decision to expand in Utah very smooth," Kris Kelley, executive vice
president and chief financial officer of Sun, said in a prepared
