Article: Landlord fined for parking officer assault

A Concord landlord was fined $900 yesterday for assaulting a parking officer.

Evangelos Lillios, 72, who owns the building at 2 N. Main St. that houses Pitchfork Records, was found guilty in Concord District Court of misdemeanor simple assault.

The complaint against Lillios charged that Lillios "knowingly caused unprivileged physical contact" to the parking officer by "grabbing her cross strap with his hand and touching her chest."

The incident occurred around noon July 8, at Pleasant Street Extension, near Lillios's building. (Lillios, who owns the building, does not run Pitchfork Records.)
