Holiday celebrations and food seem to go hand-in-hand. I enjoy cooking, but I still remember when my "normal" cooking was interrupted when our daughter was diagnosed with food allergies.

When she tested positive for allergies to milk, eggs and peanuts, I wondered how I'd ever be able to prepare meals without creamy soup, cheese and eggs. We wondered how she'd survive in the outside world. We were totally overwhelmed. But now, managing food allergies is just a part of our everyday life.
