The planned works on the A303 look set to cause highways hell on
the roads of Wiltshire and Somerset.
If local politicians' and residents' fears are realised, then
vehicles will be clogging up roads with a constant flow of traffic
pouring through small villages.
The works will not only cause a massive inconvenience to people's
lives but could have a negative impact on the local economy.
Rural areas are facing huge challenges in the next few years if
the seemingly endless bad news coming out of Westminster is true.
A group of MPs recently said that rural affairs are being
marginalised at White- hall and that the lack of help from the
Government for rural businesses is holding them back.
