"What is that disgusting smell coming from the oven?" my teenage
son asked.
Once again, I was testing a recipe for work. And to my rosemary-
loving senses, the baking Rosemary Blue Cheese Ice Box Cookies
smelled heavenly.
I also like blue cheese, but in a cookie? This season's Land
O'Lakes press kit offered some unusual cookie flavors, such as
lemongrass and tangerine. The blue cheese recipe intrigued me, and I
wanted to use the rosemary in my garden before winter sets in.
For testing purposes I halved the recipe, because blue cheese,
real butter and pecans are pricey. I think the pecans can be
omitted, because a lot of them fell off when I sliced the dough. The
