Workers at stricken west Hull caravan manufacturer Atlas Holiday Homes will find out on Monday whether they will get to keep their jobs.

As first reported on the Mail's website, the company called in the administrators at about 3pm yesterday due to the continuing economic downturn.

It has sent letters to employees inviting them to its Wiltshire Road site on Monday, where they will learn their fate.

News of the administration came as a shock to the 340 staff, who were told their jobs were safe when they left for their Christmas break last Thursday.

One worker, who did not want to be named, told the Mail he was "absolutely gutted".
