Article: South San Francisco school board parts with superintendent

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO -- The South San Francisco Unified School District board will part ways with Superintendent Barbara Olds, who has served the agency as a teacher and administrator for four decades.

Last week, the five-member board unanimously voted not to extend Olds' current contract beyond this school year. Trustees will now look for her successor.

Today, they are scheduled to review Olds' performance as superintendent -- a position she has held for more than five years - - in closed session.
