Lend a HAND
Instead of giving his clients a typical Christmas gift this year,
J.P. Plunkett is donating $1,000 in their names to Lend a Hand.
A senior director at Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate
firm in Boston, Plunkett is familiar with Lend a Hand because he
lives in Milton. He also worked in the Ledger newsroom while going
to Boston College in the early 1990s.
"Lend a Hand reminds me of how special the season is," Plunkett
said. "Why not spend money and put it to a good use if it can help?
"With the economy, so many people are struggling. You start to
see people you know who are really hurting."
His contribution brings this year's total to $46,937.
