Even if you don't consider yourself a techie, it's a good bet
that your life (and home) includes at least a dozen electronic
devices.
Let's count them: a television or two, which are probably hooked
up to a DVD players and maybe videocassette recorders. Don't forget
the stereo, the computer and its related equipment, cell phone and
Blackberry, iPod and, if you have a home office, maybe a printer,
scanner and fax machine.
"Electronics are so saturated in our lives, and the volume of
electronics out there is mind-boggling," said Scott Dill, co-owner
of the recycling firm C&I Electronics.
And, sooner or later, all of that equipment will break down, wear
out or become obsolete.
