WOOSTER -- Martha P. Young, 101, of Wooster, died Sunday, Dec.
21, 2008, at Smithville-Western Care Center.
She was born March 10, 1907, in Sandy Lake, Pa., the daughter of
Harry and Ella (McCullough) Parshall, and had worked at Westinghouse
during World War II. She was a secretary at the high school in West
Middlesex, Pa., and served as a church visitor for the church her
husband, Ralph Young pastored in his retirement.
She was a member of Travelers Club, COW retirees and Kenjockety
Club.
Surviving are children, Eleen (Robert L.) Gilkey of Grove City,
Pa., Joan (Harmon) Pennell of West Middlesex, Pa., Donna Gilkey of
Wooster; stepdaughters, Patricia Young, Judith Young and Kathleen
