The holiday season is an especially appropriate time to recognize
outstanding work on behalf of those in need. With that in mind, The
Daily Record presents its third annual Helping Others recognition
campaign. The following are Maryland businesses and law firms that
have contributed significant amounts of money, time or other forms
of support to worthy causes this year.
Erickson Shares Week
For the first time in 2008, more than 200 employees of Erickson
Retirement Communities' corporate offices in Baltimore and Anne
Arundel counties fanned out across the Baltimore area during a three-
day period to volunteer their time in support of local nonprofits.
