P-40 Warhawk at air museum
The P-40 Warhawk seen in the movie "Valkyrie" will be centerpiece
of this month's historical aviation event and presentation on Jan. 3
at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino.
The museum will present eyewitness accounts as well as a
discussion panel of experts.
There will also be a flight demonstration featuring the P-40
fighter airplane of World War II.
A speakers presentation is at 10 a.m. and a flight demonstration
of the P-40 aircraft will be at noon.
The event features Marshall Lumsden, of the 324th fighter
squadron; Les Krause, retired U.S. Army Air Corps Col. Les Krause;
Gordon Markle, crew chief of the 57th Fighter Group; and retired ...
