Where to go and what to know about recycling a Christmas tree (no
light cords, decorations or twine can be left on trees):
-- Alta: 10380 E. Highway 210, Christmas trees may be dropped off
on the west side of the beige-colored trailer, Dec. 26-Jan. 15.
-- Bluffdale: Trans-Jordan Landfill, 10873 S. 7200 West, will
accept and recycle trees from residents at no charge. Fee charged
for flocked trees, trees in plastic bags or if part of a mixed load.
-- Copperton: County sanitation crews will collect trees at the
curb on regular garbage collection days Dec. 26-Jan. 31.
-- Draper: Trees will be collected at Draper Public Works, 4501
Minute Man/East Frontage Road, Dec. 26-Jan. 15.
