Article: Pittsburg's Grace Lutheran Church adopts families

For the second year, volunteers from Pittsburg's Grace Lutheran Church family provided Thanksgiving food for 19 families at SHELTER Inc.'s transitional family center for the homeless, the Lyle Morris Family Center in Antioch.

Grace Lutheran's Board of Human Care, which works with members of the congregation and community to support those most in need, provided the food, along with an assist from the church and its members. In addition, the local Raleys was a big help in preparing the food, including all the turkeys.
