What are you currently reading in bed?
The Shameful Life of Salvador Dali by Ian Gibson. It's the best
book on Dali " neither judgemental nor completely in thrall to him.
I'm writing a long essay about Dali. It's getting longer all the
time. My publisher once interviewed Dali. Said he was crazy like a
fox, you know? Knew exactly what he was up to. I thought that was
quite interesting. I suspected it, you see.
