If it has the word Guinness in it, I have to try it. So I was
pleasantly surprised to find Guinness battered onion rings - sliced
onions in a Guinness batter then deep fried and served with choice
of dipping sauce, and a Guinness BBQ bacon burger - a half pound of
ground beef cooked to order, topped with Guinness BBQ sauce,
lettuce, tomato and provolone cheese on the menu at Irish Twins Pub
on Main Street in Lewiston.
Deciding on the Guinness BBQ bacon burger with fries, I was
slightly disappointed that a glass of Guinness would not be washing
it all down. There's always next time during off-work hours.
