KTKA-TV Channel 49 returned to DISH Network on Wednesday after
being dropped from its lineup a week ago.
DISH Network began rebroadcasting KTKA's signal after the two
parties reached a new retransmission agreement. In the agreement,
DISH Network customers soon will be able to receive KTKA's high-
definition signal for the first time.
"We're very pleased that DISH Network and KTKA were able to work
together to find a reasonable solution for both companies that
increases the value DISH Network customers receive," said Patrick
Knorr, chief operating officer of Free State Communications, which
owns KTKA.
