Martha P. Angermeier, age 101, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away, Monday, December 1, 2008, at Columbia

Health Care.

Martha P. (Knackmus) Angermeier was born the oldest of four children of Frank and Ella (Schroeder) Knackmus of rural Bone Gap, Illinois, on July 2, 1907. She graduated from Bone Gap High School and moved to Evansville, Indiana, where she was a nanny and housekeeper for a family there for several years.

Martha married George Angermeier at St. John Catholic Church in Elberfeld, Indiana. The couple lived and farmed the family home place for many years before moving to Evansville in 1953. In 1983, several years after George's passing, she moved to ...
