Police in the East Riding will launch a county-wide blitz
tomorrow against poachers who are hunting illegally with dogs.
It will be the first time policing teams across the area have
joined forces on such an operation.
Back up will also be provided by the Humberside Police
helicopter, the dog section, incident response teams, traffic
officers and CID, as first reported on the Mail's website.
The RSPCA and East Riding Council's anti-social behaviour team
are also supporting the operation.
Farm watch groups from across the region are also taking part.
The move is in response to the daily targeting of the East Riding
by gangs of poachers from across the north of England and the
Midlands.
