Article: Beaver County woman died of smoke inhalation

The Beaver County coroner has determined that a woman killed in a house fire Sunday morning in Freedom died of smoke inhalation.

Joyce Newvall, 52, was pronounced dead at 6:30 a.m. by county Coroner Teri Tatalovich-Rossi, who ruled the manner of Newvall's death an accident. The official cause of death was asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation, Tatalovich-Rossi ruled.
