Alice Margaret Mary (Charvet) Waddle, 80, longtime Grandview
resident, passed away Monday, January 5, 2009 at her home.
Alice was born on December 13, 1928 to Eugene P. and Edna Charvet
at their home. Her early years were spent in Mabton, at the family
home. She then went on to boarding school in Seattle, Mt. Angel
Academy in Oregon, and graduated from Ursuline Academy in Moscow,
Idaho in 1948.
Alice married the love of her life, George Waddle on May 14th,
1949 in Grandview. They made their first home in Mabton, where
George farmed and began their family, which once completed consisted
of eleven children, eight boys and three girls. After ...
