Broadway actress Kelli O'Hara will perform and receive the South
Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce's "Native Daughter" award at the
annual banquet on Jan. 22 at the Cox Business Services Convention
Center.
Each year at the banquet, the South Oklahoma City Chamber of
Commerce honors an Oklahoma native. Last year singer B.J. Thomas was
honored and performed. Thomas was born in Hugo in 1942.
O'Hara, who is currently starring in the Tony Award-winning
revival of South Pacific at Lincoln Center, was raised on a farm
near Elk City and received a degree in opera from Oklahoma City
