I am now a member of the Barney Stinson fan club. I'll count myself among those who feel it's a crime that Neil Patrick Harris hasn't won an Emmy yet.

Also, if there isn't a Lily Aldrin fan club, there should be.

After seeing a few early episodes of "How I Met Your Mother" on Lifetime (Mondays at 7 and 7:30 p.m.), I decided to give the whole series a shot. Last weekend, I rented season 1 and had a marathon.

It was a long but thoroughly enjoyable event that left me wanting to see more. Now, I'm in the early episodes of season 2 with plans to rent season 3 sometime this week if possible.
