Cohasset High School boys basketball coach Bo Ruggiero had to wait an extra five minutes to find out if he would clinch his 450th career victory Tuesday night.

It was worth the wait. The Skippers pulled out a 72-66 overtime victory over East Bridgewater in South Shore League play.

Trailing by six points with 1:36 to go, Marcus Charles made two steals that set up easy buckets to force the game into overtime.

In the extra frame, senior center Dan Martin scored four of his 22 points, delivering the host Skippers (9-3).

Charles finished with 15 points, and Robert Jones added 13.

The victory marks Cohasset's first season sweep of East Bridgewater in five years.
