"DREAM" RETURNS: Last spring, more than 150 local residents
gathered at Malden Access Television for a group reading to re-
create the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream Speech,"
with each person reciting one line.
Participants represented the diversity of the city, reflecting
different ages, races, creeds, and cultures.
The edited video of that recitation, "We Have a Dream," recently
premiered at the First Parish of Malden, a Unitarian Universalist
church at Elm and Pleasant streets. It also inspired an art
exhibition, which can be seen in the church's display space, the
Gallery at Elm Street, through Feb. 22.
