Hull Fc could team up with an NHS trust to relocate its training ground and create a health and lifestyle centre in the city.

The team, which currently trains at Brantingham Park, near Brough - the home of Hull Ionians - is looking to transfer to a new site in Inglemire Lane, north Hull.

The move could see the club work with NHS Hull, the city's primary care trust, and the University of Hull on the project.

If NHS Hull approves the proposals at a meeting on Thursday, Hull FC will invest pounds1.9m and NHS Hull will contribute pounds1m to develop a health and lifestyle centre for the city and new training complex for the club.
