A First Student school bus carrying middle school and junior high
students was rear-ended yesterday afternoon in a three-vehicle
collision. No students were injured, but one woman went to the
hospital for treatment of an injured left arm and a visible bruise
on her head.
"We were lucky, and so were the students," Columbia Fire
Department Battalion Chief Gary Warren said.
Bus No. 10 was transporting about 30 students from Lange Middle
School and Oakland Junior High School to their homes. Warren said
