Article: Crash causes closure of Redlands Boulevard

REDLANDS - Authorities shut down the eastbound lanes of Redlands Boulevard on Tuesday to allow Southern California Edison crews to repair high-voltage power lines dangling in the street after a three- car collision.

The roadway was expected to be closed until sometime early this morning.

A motorist reported a suspected drunken driver in a 27-foot motorhome about 11:30 a.m. at Redlands Boulevard and California Street, but the driver failed to pull over and ran a red light with a sheriff's deputy pursuing him.
