MORGANTOWN - Bob Huggins had a pretty simple way of breaking down the Big East Conference the other night when someone asked him where he thought his team fit into the mix.

"Well, it looks like there's four teams and then the rest of us," the West Virginia coach said. "I'd probably say we're in 'the rest of us."'

Indeed, for all of the talk of the strength and even the balance - at least in the upper half - of the Big East, so far pretty much everyone has gone through rough patches. Everyone, that is, save for what has emerged as the big four: No. 1 Connecticut, No. 5 Louisville, No. 6 Pitt and No. 8 Marquette.
