It's the end of one era and a new beginning at Gloucester
Cathedral with two changes in staff.
Ian Stainburn (pictured), who has worked as Cathedral architect
for the past 11 years, is stepping down from his role and Carolyn
Heighway, the Cathedral archaeologist for more than 20 years, is
retiring.
A spokeswoman for the Cathedral said: "We are losing two key
players who between them have given more than 30 years of dedicated
service.
"Ian and Carolyn will be hard acts to follow with a wealth of
experience built up over such a continuous period."
