Article: Valley Times Feb. 9 letters to the editor

Does Times Staff Writer Eric Louie work for the San Ramon Valley School District? I find it amazing that every article he writes with regard to the school district bonds, he only mentions one bond. The fact is we are currently paying for three bonds, for a total of $304.48 per year. Why is that? When does the school district start being responsible for their financial obligations? Why do we continually have to bail out the school district?

In a Times article dated June 14, 2008, it states "in 2007 there were 29,289 fewer East Bay children ages 5-13 than there were in 2002. Taxpayers need to remember that this proposed bond of $144 will increase $8-$10 per year with inflation.
