Swiss voters approve expanded labor accord with EU

GENEVA, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- Swiss voters on Sunday approved the expansion of a key labor accord with the European Union which will allow Romanians and Bulgarians to live and work in Switzerland.

Some 59.6 percent of the voters gave their support to the continuation of the accord, which allows free movement of workers between Switzerland and the EU, while 40.4 percent voted no, Swiss news agency ATS reported.
