It's always me and women, women and me, and It's A Small World,
that infernal boat ride, that cruise through worst-case heebie-
jeebies.
Is it just because I'm a male? I know it can't be age because my
genetic-level unease with this Disneyland/Disney World attraction
goes back to my teens. To Orlando, to be precise, to the year they
opened the park after punching a huge hole in the Florida aquifer in
the name of magic, family fun and floating the boat, literally.
Don't get me wrong, the Disney parks are fantastic.
They are also overpriced and cleansed of all emotion except the
play kind. Capt. Hook doesn't, after all, flay Peter Pan alive and
the Haunted Mansion ghosts are strictly for ...
