The embattled Rangers manager Alex McLeish admits he has
previously questioned the wisdom of occupying the pressurised hot-
seat at Ibrox.
Speculation surrounding the future of the Govan club's manager has
increased almost to a state of frenzy following their 2-0 CIS
Insurance Cup quarter- final defeat by rivals Celtic in midweek.
McLeish is reportedly set to meet chairman David Murray over the
weekend after the recent poor run of results. His side have won only
two of their last 11 games and are trailing their Glasgow rivals by
12 points in the Premier League, although they still have a chance of
qualifying through the group stages of the Champions' League for the
first time.
