Gordon Brown was yesterday accused of leading an "urban-centric"
Government that had failed to deal with bovine TB.
Tory MP Gary Streeter (South West Devon) said thousands of dairy
farmers feared for the safety of their herds because of the disease.
Mr Brown said Environment Secretary Hilary Benn held regular
meetings with the National Farmers' Union (NFU) about the issue.
At Prime Minister's question time, Mr Streeter said: "Thousands
