Article: Carolyn Livengood: South San Francisco holds e-waste recycling events

ELECTRONIC WASTE MANAGEMENT and the South San Francisco Community Preservation Task Force are co-sponsoring free e-waste recycling events from noon to 5 p.m. on Feb. 27 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 28.

The gathering will be held rain or shine at the South San Francisco Fire Department's Station 61, located at 480 North Canal St. at the corner of South Spruce Avenue.

Electronic items that will be accepted include audiovisual equipment, cell phones, computers and components, copy machines, DVD players and VCRs, fax machines, monitors, power cables, printers, scrap metal and wire, stereo equipment, toner cartridges, TV equipment, TVs, and video game systems.
