Hull: Plans for a new training ground for Hull FC and a health
and lifestyle centre for the public have been backed unanimously by
the city's primary care trust.
The board of NHS Hull has agreed to invest pounds1m in the
project, earmarked for a site in Inglemire Lane, north Hull.
Hull FC will donate pounds1.9m and Hull University will donate
the land, worth about pounds1m. Hull FC chief executive James Rule
said he was delighted with NHS Hull's support, which would see the
club move from Brantingham Park, Elloughton, to the new north Hull
site.
