Prime ewes were in demand, up between $3 and $5, with the best making $65 to $70.

Prime cattle were down 2c/kg to 5c/kg, with steers at 178c to 185c/kg, and sales to 188c/kg. The store-cattle market fared worse, down 5c/kg to 8c/kg for well-bred cattle, and 10c/kg to 15c/kg for dairy-cross cattle.
