Approximately 250 guests and members of the Putnam County Chamber
of Commerce gathered recently at Wellington's in Poca for the annual
dinner.
The chamber celebrated its 30th anniversary.
During the business portion of the meeting, the chamber members
elected new directors Randy Cunningham, Pray Construction Company;
Doug Drebohld, Toyota Motor Manufacturing WV, Inc; and Tina McPhail,
Triad Engineering, Inc.
The directors were each elected to serve a three-year term on the
board.
The Mayo Lester Community Service Award was presented to Karen
Haynes, who was also the recipient of the 2008 Governor's Service
Award.
