DISTRICT THREE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
JASON GUARENTE
All three of them believed they had a good shot at winning the
Lancaster-Lebanon League championship.
All three of them fell short of that goal.
For Hempfield, Elizabethtown and Penn Manor, shrugging off the
lingering disappointment from last week won't be easy.
But they must do it.
The next step in the boys basketball postseason journey, the
District Three Tournament, awaits.
Hempfield, E-town and Penn Manor are three of five local teams
still standing in Class AAAA. All three are high seeds that have to
quickly recharge their batteries for another tournament push.
District play begins in earnest with the first round this week.
