City looks to study its pools
Walnut Creek is seeking proposals from individuals or firms to
evaluate its aquatic programs and facilities.
The work will involve analyzing the current services the city
provides, the current state of both the Clarke and Larkey pools, a
projection of future program and facility needs and an assessment of
potential capital improvements necessary to meet the demand for
swimming and related activities.
There may also be preliminary design alternatives for a new swim
center, likely at Heather Farm Park.
