Penrose-St. Francis great place for nurses

Penrose-St. Francis Health Services has been listed among the Top 100 Hospitals to Work for in 2009 by Nursing Professionals Magazine.

The magazine sent surveys to 25,000 randomly selected nurses who were asked to rate how well their hospital manages personal training and development, if it's a family-friendly employer with flexible working arrangements, and if the hospital promotes equality and diversity.

Abbot Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn., took top honors. Penrose-St. Francis was ranked 52nd.
