Article: Amish Flea Market relocates, plans in works to expand hours

BERLIN -- A Berlin businessman was going for a typical Sunday morning run in late August, when he stumbled upon a multi-million dollar endeavor.

Alan Zinck was flagged down in front of the Berlin Burger King by Ben Mast.

Zinck had expressed interest in purchasing the Amish Flea Market, the previous Amish Flea Market became the Holmes County Expo Center.

"Surveys have shown in the past that it was the number one destination in Holmes County," Zinck said.

But, Zinck backed away from the project after Shrock's Amish Farm expressed interest in the flea market.

Mast leaned out of his vehicle and told Zinck if he was still interested in the flea market he could have it.
